Each suite or room of
our Bastrop, TX bed and breakfast is
outfitted with all the amenities a vacationer or business traveler would
desire, such as a new comfortable bed, refitted for the antique
bed suites with luxurious linens and featherbeds, TV/VCR's, ceiling fans,
coffeemakers, comfortable working/reading areas with desks, easy chairs
and books and magazines. Some rooms have fireplaces, loveseat sofa
beds or adjacent sitting areas. Downstairs are traditional
Victorian front and back parlors with fireplace, TV/movies, games,
and bookcases.

 Master
Suite

An elegant and unusual
turn-of-the-century bedroom suite anchors the Master Suite. Lounge
on the king-size featherbed or relax on the loveseat (sofa bed, for
children or an extra guest) in front of the fireplace. The
oversized bath (with shower) was originally the family nursery. A
tiny adjacent room was once the original owner's photographic darkroom.

Minden Room

The softly romantic Minden Room is
swathed in blue and white clouds and features a queen-size feathered
bed covered in lovely Battenburg lace accessories. The antiques
are comfortable French provincial pieces and include a dressing/writing
table, armoire and dresser. The bath en-suite has a shower.

Marais
Suite
$120, upstairs
 The
very spacious Marais Suite is ideal for a couple on a romantic getaway
or for a party of three as the adjacent former Victorian sleeping porch
has been converted to a sitting room with loveseat sofa bed. An enormous
bath, formerly another bedroom, features tub/shower and antique
vanities. Golden oak antiques dominate the suite which occupies the
entire back wing of the house. The warm oak fireplace keeps it cozy.

The Downstairs Suite
$99.00-$189.00, downstairs
The Front and Back
Parlors area closed off from one another and the rest of the house by
gorgeous, old-fashioned sliding pocket doors. The Back Parlor ($99 if
rented alone) with adjacent full bath, tub and shower, has a "hi-tech",
high quality, quite comfortable sofa bed. The Front Parlor is only
rented to members of the same party as the Back Parlor since the bath is
then shared.

Inn Policies
Your reservation is confirmed when we receive a credit card
number (MC/V). However to keep costs low we prefer a check equal to 1 one night
or 1/2 total due for the deposit. Upon receipt of the deposit check, your
reservation is guaranteed.
Cancellation dependent on season: Holidays, special event weekends and weddings,
3 months. High season: 2 weeks, low, 3 days. If you notify us prior to this timeframe, we will refund your deposit less a $15. processing fee. If you must cancel inside the
allotted guideline, a gift certificate will be sent to you for your return visit.
Check in: from 4 p.m. but we are often ready
earlier, please inquire.
Check out: 11:00 a.m.
Pets: Pets inside kenneled or on your lap only. Your pet is welcome to sleep
un-caged in our utility room if quiet. No fenced yard.
Children under 6, free; 6-10, $10.
Rates based on double occupancy.
Additional guests, $20 per person.
Two rules only:

#1. Due to the historic nature of our Inn, smoking permitted outside only. Further charges incurred if evidence of smoking inside.

#2. You must enjoy yourself! We'll work hard to insure your stay is wonderful but please let us know if there is anything at all we can do to make it more pleasant.
